Two heroes, one love story
I met Synelle and Wylie about a year and a half ago. We literally started off with our common share of our love for Ghibli films and what we liked doing. Now, we share our experiences and how we are moving into new parts and stages in our life. Wylie is steps away to become a firefighter like we first talked about when we first met and Synelle has officially graduated from school and is now pursuing her goal career as a teacher and is teaching a class herself! It is AMAZING to see how we have grown in leaps and bounds since then.
As friends. As people. As humans.
It makes me want to cry. Happy tears of course.
THIS IS WHY I LOVE MY JOB
When Synelle came to me about wanting to do a couples session we really wanted to focus on indoors with natural light since it was getting into the cold season. We wanted to go for "cozy & cozy" and Synelle was sold on the idea of a tub session. I was SET and on fire on finding the right spot that would keep us warm and fit the couples vibe. It took us a couple of days but we finally found the perfect spot we both liked and shortly after we snagged our stay. It's a given to say that this past year has been quite a handful. Cancellations, postponements, and obstacles. Despite all of that, these two have gone through it all and overcame them; experiences were made, bonds grow stronger, and they actually inspired me to keep doing the same. I've got to thank all my couples for trusting so much in the work and the process. I hope I'll officially be a full fledged full-time photographer by the time Wylie is Chief Fireman and Synelle is changing the world one little kid at a time. Two heroes. One love story.
Love is such an adventure. We didn't have to leave the city to have one ourselves.
