Mother’s Day is a beautiful opportunity to slow down and capture the connection between you and your children. This year I’m offering special Mother’s Day mini sessions designed intentionally for families with younger kids.

These sessions are cozy, relaxed, and centered around real moments. Instead of rushing through poses, the goal is to give your family space to settle in so the photos feel natural and meaningful.
If you’ve been wanting beautiful photos with your kids but the idea of a fast paced session feels stressful, this experience was created with you in mind.
A Different Kind of Mini Session
Most mini sessions are scheduled back to back with very little breathing room. Parents often arrive feeling rushed, kids need time to adjust, and everyone is expected to jump into photos immediately. And TRUST me I understand. Being a babysitter for many years and a current teacher in a nursery, I see you. Thats why I created it this way.
This experience is intentionally different.
Each session includes a 30 minute reserved time slot, even though we spend about 20 minutes photographing. The additional time exists for a reason. It gives both parents and children a chance to arrive, settle in, and take a breath before the camera comes out.
Young children often need a few minutes to warm up to a new environment. Parents deserve a moment to decompress too. That small buffer makes a big difference in helping everyone feel comfortable.
When the pressure disappears, the best moments naturally follow.
A Mother’s Day Session That Includes All Parents
These sessions are created to celebrate motherhood and the love parents share with their children. They are also open to single fathers raising their little ones.
Every parent deserves to have meaningful photos with their kids.
Indoor Studio Sessions in Woodinville
Sessions will take place in a heated indoor studio in Woodinville, just outside Seattle.
The indoor space creates a calm environment that works especially well for young kids and allows families to relax without worrying about unpredictable spring weather.
Families traveling from Seattle, Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, and surrounding areas will also find the location easy to access, with free parking available nearby.

What Makes These Minis Unique
Many mini sessions include only a small handful of images and then require families to purchase more.
For these sessions, I approach things differently.
Your session includes 15 professionally edited images, because beautiful moments with your children should not feel withheld behind an upsell.
You will also have the option to purchase the entire gallery for $150, which includes all the best images from your session except for photos that are blurry, test shots, or mid blink moments.
What’s Included
Your Mother’s Day mini session includes:
• 30 minute reserved session time
• 20 minutes of guided photography
• 15 professionally edited digital images
• Online gallery delivered within one week

What to Wear for Mother’s Day Photos
Soft, simple outfits photograph beautifully in this type of session.
Recommended colors include:
• Neutrals
• Whites
• Soft tones
• Pastels
Try to avoid overly vibrant colors, busy patterns, or clothing with large logos. Keeping outfits simple allows the focus to stay on the connection between you and your child.

For Families With Older Kids
These specific sessions are designed with younger children in mind.
If you have older kids, I will also be offering outdoor Mother’s Day mini sessions on May 26 at Lake Sammamish Park, which are better suited for bigger kids and teens who may enjoy more space to move around and have mastered the "smile" on command.
Why These Photos Matter
Parents are often the ones behind the camera capturing their children’s lives. But years from now, your children will want to see the photos that include you too.
The hugs, the laughter, the way they fit into your arms at this stage of life. These moments pass quietly, but photographs help preserve them.
