WASHINGTON | DISCOVERY PARK MICRO-WEDDING | SARAH & DAVID
One of the things I LOVE about micro weddings; is the details and the thoughts that was put into everything, the little touches. A color was picked not because it "looks good" but it feels good and your chosen color. A touch of flowers and lights here and there because you know it changes the ambience to a welcome and relaxed setting. A micro wedding doesn't mean anything is of less importance, if anything, it includes everything that is of most importance.
I got to witness a mother watch as her daughter grows up and take her first step in another chapter in her life and a man who gets to finally marry his high school swear heart. During their vows, I was in tears. I was moved. Their promises to God and to each other was so powerful I felt tingles all over, the presence of God was among them. I watched (and photographed) Sarah being loved by her close friends and family, making sure she was taken care of, drinking water and the beats of the guys hyping up David as a married man. Sarah and David, thank you for letting me witness this new stage of your life together.
